
The municipality of Foca is known for rafting down the Tara and Drina rivers. The Tara River is one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe with an 80 km long canyon. The Tara Canyon, with a depth of 1300 meters, is the deepest on the old continent, and after the Colorado Canyon, it is the second deepest in the world. Its water is extremely clean and represents Europe’s largest natural reserve of drinking water, which is why it is called the “Tear of Europe”. The last 25 km of the stream pass through the municipality of Foca.
A total of 32 camps are registered in the territory of the municipality, with an accommodation capacity of about 2000 beds.
