The office of the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Foča is located in Njegoševa Street, in the center of Foča. The Tourist Organization operates two information centers, in Kralja Petra Street and in the Brod na Drini settlement.
On the ninth kilometer of the old Foca-Sarajevo road there is a rare natural phenomenon – Sand Pyramids. A similar phenomenon, where interesting ground forms are formed under the influence of rain, frost, wind and other climatic factors, is found in only a few places in the world. In Serbia in Devil’s Down (Djavolja Varos), Italy in the Dolomites, Romania in the Valcea region and in the US in Colorado.
What the Sand Pyramids in Foca differs from the rest is that they continue to grow due to soil erosion and continuous erosion. In the wider area around the Sand Pyramids, there are 6 other locations where the pyramids are formed or are in the process of being formed.
