The office of the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Foča is located in Njegoševa Street, in the center of Foča. The Tourist Organization operates two information centers, in Kralja Petra Street and in the Brod na Drini settlement.
The Tara canyon is famous for being the second deepest in the world and the first in Europe. In the area where the canyon is deepest, at a peak called Obzir, the difference from the highest point to the river is 1300 meters.
The Canyon is ideal for hikers, cyclists and lovers of similar activities. In several places you can descend to the river itself, where several streams flow into the Tara and where improvised picnic places are made.
One of the most beautiful viewpoints from which Scepan Polje can be seen, where the Piva and Tara form the Drina, is located on the right bank of the Tara River on the so-called Strmena stijena. From this viewpoint there is a view of the monastery of Zagradje in Montenegro.
